newwave1,
We have a Beko WMB5100W in the flat share that I have and I absolutely hate it. It seems to take enough water for the washes but the rinses are a joke. It tumbles whilst it fills yes, but water is never visible during the rinses and I hate filling it up to full capacity.
The tumbles in the rinse stage are short and frequent. Its only ever left powder on the clothes when I overfilled with bedding and a pillow or duvet - same thing I've had with other machines. The best machine I ever had for rinsing was the AEG OKO Lavamat 72640 that I had in 2002 with its SPIN - RINSES, it used to drive all that water through the load to get rid of the detergent. Still using such little water, I think even less than the Beko but it had a bigger drum and Jetsystem. The other machine that seemed to be ok with rinsing was the Zanussi Jetsystem ZWH7122J that I purchased in 2012, though it lacked Spin Rinsing, it seemed to use a fair bit of water on the rinses, along with the Jetsystem. The washes were first class, it always topped up at least once and most of the time twice. Could always hear plenty of water sloshing about in the drum but I wasn't a fan of the static fills, but got used to it.
I would happily chuck out the Beko and tell the landlord I have done so, but I only plan to be at the flat for another year before I plan to move out and buy my own place so no real point in spending the money on a machine that I wont be able to take with me.
