Bosch Nexxt Dryer, hard time starting

My Friend has a Bosch nexxt dyer that has a hard time starting. they open and close door and try and start it. smack it. and they usually can get it going... lately it has been getting worse. I thought of checking the door switch or the relay.. could it be the high limit thermoster going out?

keep in mind, they've had it since 2007 have 5 kids and do mountains of laundry... not sure if its worth messing with.. the washer is still going!

Sounds like a failed motor capacitor.
