It may be designed that way so that Tupperware and such don’t get flipped.

My neighbors have had that dishwasher for a while and no problems that I know of. Personally, if I’m getting a tall tub, I’m taking advantage and getting a third rack. For that price range, I think I’d go with the Whirlpool WDTA50SAKZ $598 at Home Depot.

Makes sense to me. I've always wondered about this dishwasher. It does the top and bottom during the main wash.

turbo clean option
My Bosch built Kenmore has the turbo clean option. However, I don't see any turbo clean jets.

Bosch pump setup
Is the pump setup on Bosch vertical or horizontal? I've wondered about that for sometime. I believe my Kenmore is related knowing it was made by them.

How can you tell which arms are running and which spray patterns? I've noticed the same thing on my Kenmore. I typically use the smart wash with turbo clean and have great results. I use the dry assist option all the time. I set the dishwasher to d:01 on the options menu by pressing normal and start, which is what shows up first. I also set the rinse aid to r:06 which is the highest. I did press start on both options to save these settings. I wish I had a camera so I can film inside.
