Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Nice pictures Darren

I have all 3 Combos wired in as of last week, put two new 220V lines in to be able to run them all at once. So next time you're up here you will have to come do laundry.

last year was not a good time , I am looking forward to 2010.

Wouldn't you know now there isn't a stitch of dirty laundry in the whole house so they are just sitting there!

cheers

White Wascomats : who does make them ??

Hi Darren,

great pics ! Just one question : for us in Europe Wascomat/Wascator are those sturdy stainless steel machines in the last pics.

Those white machines in your earlier posts look very close to our Zanussi-Electrolux household machines, expecially those plastic doors. Who does produce them ?

TIA
Carlo

Girbau, they look nice, they also look like softmount machines. I like the older ones with the door arm going across the entire door. I see these on ebay every one in a while. There's actually a distributor not far from where I live. Nice pictures Darren! What are those W655, W640, and W622's? I would have thought the we16's were the same as the consumer Kenmore, Ge, etc. but just with a mech timer and coin box.

We have the Logi Control

anything can be programed or with the mod key any part of the phase can be skipped repeated shortened or increased.Temp can be lowered or increased as one wishes

The Wash ribs are deisgned to force water

Thru the load with great pressure cutting the wash time almost in half. (for us anyway) and the water levels are fully adjustable to any level one wishes.

In this area they are kicking Wascomats ass. big time. and Alliance is not such happy campers anymore either.

Jon- Good to hear from you ! that must feel good that you got all your combos are going , there is not enough plugs for me as well.
Yes i hope to come there again i had a great time, and this time to come see you and your washers and your dog.
Did you find some wash yet?

Favorit- I first saw that washer in 1996-97 in a Frigidare literiture little did i know at the time that it was Electroluxe that distributed the washer and i saw it grow from there in many names and facia forms until today.

Greg-I saw that bucket first on this site i beleave it was in the introduction of Robert's GE washer in (see it wash) i was like what a big & cool ( all ) bucket. Then when i got to the laundromat in Boston with you guy's in mind before i got there ....There was the bucket when i came through the door how wierd is that ?
And that place is way cool !
And I never heard the Girbau's soft mounts spinning... just washing i alway's came to late it would be washing and had no time to stay for the spin cycle. I was alway's was interested in commercial laundry products.
I am alway's thinking of a cool way to have a nice laundromat and or washing service. But with thinking out of the box.
And not a reality at this time.

Melvin- They are soft mounts,I get the coin laundry mag and i alway's thought that Girbau machines where more advanced then wascomat on some of there machines. Can't wait to see what happens to your Primus washer ! I had and ad which i can't find on the white wascomat. And Greg & Melvin I have the same Qwestion about how they will hold up... I have seen them in shirt laundres and( Curly's ) wash , Dry, Fold, Where she caters to the university of pennsylvania students and makes a good living off them.
I talk to her every now and then she say's the wascomat electroluxe... washer does great for her, and saw that machine last mounth and it will be seven years now since she owned it.

Lee- Those Girbau's are soooo nice !
1. Does the little machine has the same flexability as the larger one, and how fast are both of the spin speeds on the units ?

2.The wash basket looks different on your models the smaller one is a beauty that basket is stunning ! Do you think the on primus machine is diffrent in the cyclenders then on coin op's ? It seem's i saw larger holes in the coin op's.

3. How is that washing action compared to wasco machines the baffles look like they have a higher left and holes then wasomat's washers ?

4.( Alliance is not happy camper's anymore )Can you tell us why ?

Laundress- Alliance i did not no about that they distrebuted the wascomat brand in the commercial line. Well we the members have talked about laundries own here for awhile...
Do you remember the extravagent laundromat that someone posted , it was in Germany and had all Miele washers and a beautiful wood floor and a nice detergent section, that was an awsome concept ?

Here are some machines i have collected in magizines and lit.
Below...My secound wascomat lit from a distributer i think on Emerald series.

Hear are some Continental's
Different pockets the one in the middle is a 75 pounder.
I have seen the 125 pound machine once and it took the operator to climp the latter to turn the unit on !
