Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Thomas-

While not as elegant a solution as you were describing, could not you accomplish what you are after with a 30" cooktop and an OTR Micro/Convection unit with a DW below the cooktop and a 6" storage cabinet next to the DW?

I use my OTR combo unit quite often as a convection oven, more than I thought. It would be perfect if it was a 220v version, but the price was right so I'll live with it being a bit slow on the preheat. The one thing I really dislike about it is that the interior is SS, much prefer it if it was a non-stick surface as my previous one had and many new models do.

MattL - clever! Here's a thought!

Because we're talking about an area of the house which frequently has 240/40Amp (or 50Amp), you don't have to cope with the anemic 1500 Watt limitations (80% of circuit) which otherwise plague the outdated 120V/15Amp American recepticle.

Go to it!

Oh, and why not remember that Kelvinator and a few others had combination dishwasher/clothes-washer designs?

Interesting but.... Where would I put the washer and dryer?

The main reason for the concept is "finding a way to make a washer and a dryer fit in a kitchen"... Everything else is a bonus.

Based on that, ok.... I have to make a washer and a dryer fit where a stove would fit.

And of course I still need the cooktop and the oven.

The dishwasher, microwave, convection and "air-fryer" features are secondary, as a bonus for added attractiveness.
