yep

"I wonder what the story is on these"

That's exactly the statement that ran through my mind when I saw these last night.... and emailed the seller.

My prediction:  It is a duplex, side-by-side, built new in early 80s with older parents on one side and adult child on other side.  There was a door way between the two units and they always used one kitchen because it was just easier.  Over time, parents passed, they never rented the unit.

I like the whole thing, the appliances, the flooring, the counters, the cabinets, even the louvered closet door.

Just checked my FB accnt

I guess all I can do is speculate.  Too bad for me they are on the other side of the country.

But this seller is a mean hard-a*s wheeler-dealer! lol

He/she knows they've got GOLD here, and not just in the color.

According to their description: they can't be bothered with people asking questions.

You must be dripping with $$$$$ in your inquiry or you can guess exactly where it will end up.

wehhhhhh- After that turquoise $100,000 GE wall oven on Ebay a few days back, I think we should all be grateful these are so reasonably priced.

I wonder if there is a range hood and if the matching harvest gold Kohler cast iron sink is available?  That sink will weigh a ton but it's a matched set....

Unused gold 80s appliances

The refrigerator is an energy hog, probably has the bad rotary compressor that General Electric made in that time.

The gas stove isn’t even self cleaning, by this time Tappan was not much of a gas stove kind of like a magic chef medium level cheaper range

I won’t say anything about the dishwasher just to be nice, lol

If these were next-door and free, I would throw the refrigerator into recycling because it’s an energy hog, give the dishwasher to a collector, donate the gas stove to habitat. Somebody could actually use that.
