Have seen the US vintage stuff popping out on ebay at times, is one of those detergent that lasted short on market, it is not unusual, actually the opposite to see older totally or almost forgotten brands being later introduced in other countries both from same companies or others that bought the license to use the name for one country .... the latest example is Bold that in the US was discontinued but that is still sold in UK and Italy (even though with the name Bolt, according to italian pronunce, it is not anymore the same thing of the UK one, it used to, but it was changed to become the equivalent of what Gain is the US as the softener included thing didn't work over here).
Anyway I don't recall the manufacturer of the old US Breeze though. Do someone remember it?
Breeze brand is still a brand of detergent in some countries produced by unilever, in parts of asia and in America continent in islands like Jamaica, Trinidad, Anguilla and pretty much all the Carribean area, and it is their version for what elsewhere is otherwise called OMO.
I have ordered not many time ago some packets of the stuff from Jamaica, one regular and others lemon scented which I love, they have still to come...
But they promise well, they're high sudsing detergents....
