OMG!! :-)

Darren! WOW!!! :-)

I hope you’ve managed to get the button sorted out now. :-)

If you ever let go of this machine, I’ll be having words with you, sunshine! ;-)

I’d have loved a machine like this. Don’t forget, as I say every five minutes, I had the chance to have an older one in 1994/95. *sob sbo* ;-)

Nick, stop that grunting – it’s very off-putting! ;-) hehe

I’m off to watch the videos now! I’m positively shaking with excitement! :-) Think I’ll have to have a little sit down in the living room first – too much excitement! :-)

Take care. :-)

Regards,

Carl :-)

Excitement Overload

I just had to post another message – so excited! :-)

Love the colour! :-)

Just got to fire up the stereo, plug the headphone in… and away I go with Darren’s vids! ;-) OMG – how sad am I?! ;-) Using one other obsession (hi-fi) to listen to another (washers)!!! ;-)

LOL! :-)

Carl :-)

Hi Carl!
Awh! I'm glad you liked the videos! Well you may've missed out in 94/95 but find sum pleasure in the fact you get to see one in 2007 even if it is in video form:-)

Thank you to everyone who's posted so far.

I've gotten the button temporarily fixed while i order a new power button unit as it won't say in. So i've done the ole' maskin tape job to keep it secure and i just turn it off at the mains. That works for now, though admittedly its abit of an eyesore!

Currently doing a fullload of towels with a febreze liquitab. All is well so far and were on the 3rd rinse. I selected extra rinse but it didn't really need it as the 2nd rinse was clear! It was just precautionary, as i'm extremely particular when it comes to rinsing.

Hope everyones enjoying whats left of the weekend before monday arrives.

Darren

Cool videos Darren. Congratulations on finding a working Hoover NewWave. The green colour there is nice. The spin wash is so awesome.

I remember the Newwave we had at our job and how i sat and stared at it quite some time. Unfortenly one or two transit bolts were never removed on the washer, so it moved quite abit.

Later it totally died when a blond girl washed a big rug mat in it. It is said that she had to kick the door closed to get the machine going. The motor burned and (i think) the bearings seized. Stupid girl.

Later i repaired an Whirlpool machine that we found on our local dumpster. I guess you have seen the videos of that one.

You still have the Logic? How is it working?
