Send me more test emails please

OK guys I just made a relatively major change to the email system. I realized after watching the database performance that it needed some adjustment. It will run even more efficiently now. There might be a few new bugs show up because it was a big change to if you see anything funny please message me or post it here and let me know.

BUT...

Any old email streams you have (created before 11am central time today) you can still read and reply to but the older text of the earlier mails will not show up in your reply text like it did. Any new emails streams created and replied to now will have the old text posted below for you to review.

Can you guys please send me new test emails, that is fresh new ones, not replying to old ones we had over the past few days, thanks everyone.

I've made some pretty major changes to the email system, adding a Save Mail feature and a few other goodies.

If you notice it acting strange please let me know asap.

Works great for me. One question is how do I get the sent items deleted or do they roll off after a few days.

I'm glad you asked Charles. I've set the system to allow for 100 emails in your yellow inbox, 100 emails in your blue sent-box and 100 saved emails in your pink saved-box. So as for your sent items, after you have sent 100 emails it starts deleting them from the bottom. Same goes for the inbox, after you have received 100 emails when you get your 101st email the system will move the email #1 to the trash automatically. If you have an email you would like to save permanently just move it to your pink saved-box.

Does this make sense, I'm just having my first cup of coffee?

Another new feature...

I just added another button on the messages index page. If you want to send a brand new message (not replying to an older message) you can click on the Send New Message button...

Once you are in the new message you drop down the list of possible members to message and select one. Only upgraded members eligible for mail messages will appear on the drop down list. Type your message and click on SEND just like before. Of course you can still message a member directly from the threads by clicking on the pink "E" next to each eligible membername or from the list of profiles.

Robert, these are great upgrades! The messaging feature seems to be a real hit, as there are some of us who visit this site more often than their e-mail applications.
