We'll we've lived without this for 6 years so its definitely time for this new feature.

You'll notice on the blue bar above each post in the extreme right column is a graphic with "Select-o-Dial" on it. If you bring your mouse and hover over the graphic a menu should drop down.

If you created the post below and has it been less than 6:00 hours since you posted it you should get a "EDIT your post" option. Select it and it sends you back into the post creation screen and this allows you to now edit, re-preview and update your post. Six hours is the time limit before the Editing feature expires.

If you make changes to your post within 15 minutes of creating it, it won't be noted in the post that it has been edited. Between 0:15 and 5:59 hours after posting it, if you edit it a little red blurb will be at the bottom of the post stating that your post has been edited.

Give it a try in here if you wish. Create a test post in this bug thread and edit it and see how it works for you.

This was a MAJOR change to the entire posting system so I suspect we will find bugs again, please let me know ASAP if you find anything strange going on.

I'll probably start working on the delete post feature next week. The nice thing about the new Select-o-Dial menu is I will be able to add new features to this menu as we continue on without cluttering up the threads with icons all over the place.

Thanks everyone, let the bug reporting begin!!![this post was last edited: 4/29/2010-15:41]

cheking it out

Wanted to post this, edit it now, then come back later and try it after awhile. Looks like it is working great. [this post was last edited: 4/29/2010-20:19]

Looks like the only bug I have found so far is it appears that the system is reporting the post has been edited even if it was less than 15 minutes on some posts. I'll check that out later since its not critical a error as far as I can tell.

Louis its not doing it on every post, the bug is being selective.

HA Louis I answered you above your post lol! [this post was last edited: 4/29/2010-16:34]
