I'd have to say so! Cutco Knives are some damned expensive knives! Over priced in my opinion (I know, I have some).

I'd definetly never pass on a deal like that.
With cutcos double-D edge, their lifetime gurantee, and their being made in the USA make them tops in my cutlery drawer
while pricey when new I still find them to be a good lifetime investment

You're gonna love that set, Hans. I've been picking up Cutco here and there for years. Lifetime warranty, don't let anyone else sharpen them. Ship them back to the factory and sharpening and handle repair & restore is free. I've sent them some really nasty knives and they send back brand new ones if the old couldn't be restored to factory condition. Terry gave me the cheese knife (on counter) for X-mas this year, best cheese knife ever. Your spatula-spreader knife will quickly be a favorite, I use mine all the time.
My mother still has a full set she bought when she married in 65. Never wanted for another knife again.

Yes,several years ago got visited by the Cutco salesman-and bought the deluxe set-very happy with it-the Cutco tools are used everyday.And--Cutco makes the famous "K-Bar" knives used by the military.And you can sharpen some of the Cutco knives yourself-the plain edge ones-a sharpener came with my kit.The serrated ones are still just fine.

We have those knives in white, And I will tell ya, we sure as heck didn't get them for $7!!!!
Oh my. Best knives ever for sure. Super sturdy, and the warranty cant be beaten.
