Well, I have been enjoying Netflix, and found two series I love.

One is "Dexter," and the other one is "Weeds."
I just finished the third season of "Weeds," and I am waiting for the second season of "Dexter," which is to be out next month.

I am wondering if I want to make the commitment to "The Sopranos" and to "Six Feet Under."

"Huff" is in my list, because I am a MAJOR fan of Blythe Danner Paltrow.

I'd like to know what your cable tv favourites are, either on dvd or on actual cable.

(No, I am not getting cable. Internet and Netflix are plenty.)

Hi Lawrence! Six Feet Under is a fantastic show. One of my all time favorites. On a lighter note, have you watched the BBC comedy Vicar of Dibley? Everyone I know who watches it loves it and ends up buying the DVDs (I did, too). It's that good!

Six Feet Under is great, I have the entire series. I enjoy Nip/Tuck, it's so outrageous and sordid. Several friends raved about The Sopranos, I've never seen it. Another friend likes Dexter, which I also haven't yet seen. Torchwood is fun.

Little Boxes...

Weeds is one of my favorites - hilarious! The fourth season just began three weeks ago on Showtime and it's awesome.

I couldn't watch Dexter, too dark and eerie. Sopranos was good, loved the first few seasons but then it got old and I lost interest for the last couple of seasons and was dissapointed with the series finale episode - as many were. Six Feet Under was great - loved it all the way through.

Weeds is fun! The Sopranos would be a major undertaking. It has its moments, many of them, but geez, I'd never have time to get through the entire run. And I agree that the finale was a real letdown.

Definitely go for 6' Under. That's a fun one. If you watch Desperate Housewives you'll recognize its Hispanic hottie Carlos in the role of construction worker who gets caught in "THE" act with one of his colleagues. I don't think I've heard the "F" word repeated so many times on any other cable series as it was in that scene. And Mom character "Ruth" is a real hoot.

hands down Deadwood

Beigs how the real town is just up the road from me I have to give my vote to Deadwood.

Warning tho, the first five episodes are fairly accurate and then with the dying of Preacher Smith, Hollywood made like OJ heading for the border. Im not sure why they thought they needed to do that coz the real stories in Deadwood are 3 mill
ion times more intresting.

second warning.....the cussing, where did they get that? We dont talk that way out here and never had. People are kind and nice to each other. The people that were here durring the Gold rush days were mostly the worlds business elite..Cmon HBO get real.

subsequent look up....Deadwood on you tube....MAd Tvs version...a riot!!!

Also look up features of Deadwood and Seth Bllock on unsolved mysteries....erie and true.

Check out the Deadwood website www.Deadwood.org

my next choice would be six feet under....facinating
weeds......sounds cool, heard good things
AIRLINE....................for anyone whose worked with and ungrateful public.
