Yesterday I agreed to adopt a rescued lab puppy. She should be a great companion to my 5-1/2 year old lab, Charlotte. She is 6 months old and I am hoping to get her "home" next weekend. She is currently known as "Beth" but I think I'd like to modify that to "Bethann" - any objections?
What an adorable face! I'll bet she's glad to be in a loving home. I think Bethann would be honored. And speaking of Bethann, where the heck has she been the past few months?
Beth was one of 3 yellow lab females dropped off at a shelter right before Christmas. They were rescued by the Atlanta Dog Squad (ADS) and promptly put on their website. I have been considering and looking for a 2nd yellow lab for several months and immediately fell in love with this one! ADS had a showing this past Saturday at a local Petco and I saw all of their rescues, then had to take a trip to a vet's to see Beth (she was being quarantined due to an exposure to Parvo). I said "I want her"!!! She is going to be spayed this Thursday and will be coming to live with Charlotte and me on Saturday morning.
