It's kind of cute, isn't it? If I had kids, I'd get them one!
I have to agree that it is cute, and interesting design, but...
As a camper, laundry was never a priority!
Now I wonder how much ice it would hold to keep the beer cold??

Nope, it's not the same as the Thompson, that one is regular size.
I'd get one if it were available for 120 volts 60 hz. Or is there a modification one could do to get it to work on US power?
These are available new from some camping supplies dealer in the UK, I should go dig up the URL and post it.
BTW, Laundry Alternative now sells a countertop mini-spinner with a clear housing, that does a 2-1/2# load, for $69.95. Team that up with one of those "blender-style" countertop washers and you have a pretty complete wash/dry system for tiny apartments or long road trips. Or if you're on really limited AC power, team it up with one of those "revolving cookie-jar" style hand cranked "wonder wash" things.
