Were RCA-badged Whirlpool appliances still available in the US? My aunt also had an early seventies RCA dishwasher which was a Whirlpool clone.

Nice pix. Looks you guys had a great time. I'm amazed at all the different symbols on the machine there. I wish we had symbols on more products here in the states.
French/English controls
Maybe Phil or Paul could answer this.
I'm not sure what the requirements are or if there are any. It seems to me that it was only for a period that white goods like washer/dryers and stoves had both French and English on the controls, 70's 80's perhaps and then back to English only. Or do they have French only etc for models sold in Quebec?

No, they went back to english only. French was displayed mostly on some late seventies to mid-eighties models.
