I went to Harris Teeter today. As I was finishing up the shopping, I decided to scope out the detergent aisle because I have found real steals there before on discontinued detergents. Today it was the Persil Advanced Clean in the 84 oz jug for $14.99. There was a large yellow sale sticker advertising BUY ONE GET ONE FREE because it was a discontinued item. None of the other smaller sizes, nor the pods were discontinued, but this was, just like the Everyday Clean Intense Fresh 84 oz, jugs were discontinued last year when I got two for the price of one.

Maybe they have the biggest size in the pods.
They may well want to slot in the newest item (Persil Subtle Fresh or some-such) and Persil is giving them an allowance to blow Intense out)
So is Persil coming out with a new product? I thought advanced clean was their highest end offering where they took the separate older products and combined the best of the best into a single product for the most stubborn dirt and stains.

We buy the Persil Oxy liquid at Meijer. Was $13.99 last year, now $14.99 or more. Sometimes get lucky and get a checkout or in mail coupon. Only buy 2 to 3 a year of the 84 oz. If it goes on sale before we need, get it anyway. age. 3 loads per week.
I thought the Persil Advanced Clean combined their separate TOL offerings into a single product. I buy the ultra pacs and they smell nice, along with Snuggle super fresh in the morning breeze scent.

Not the Oxy liquid. A mild scent that rinses out well. We don't like strong scents. We add a half cap of Lysol sanitizer.
I prefer strong scents, but that's just my opinion. What will Persil offer next on their TOL offerings? And I mean their toughest product for the most stubborn stains.
