Poor Mickeyd........first the eyes then the mind.........
Im glad you enjoyed the Wash In Mickeyd, but Im worried about you~! Seeing things in broad daylight.........usually the spirits dont dance here till around 2am........could it be the "undulation" of the Philco during both the agitation AND the spin cycle?

Hi Mickey, great pics & commentary, I wondered what you where doing hiding behind Jimmys telly!!!, I thought you where gonna take that Philco right from under their eyes with Miss Tania`s trousers still in there, as you fell in love with that machine so much!!!
What a workout those machines and vacs had at Jimmys, a grand time was had by all...and for those who havnt seen MickeyD yet here he is about to break a sweat over finding a Hoover twinny....am just sorting my pics ready for posting

Great pics and commentary Mike! This was such a cool machine to see in operation - and fascinating to know that it agitates and spins at the same time, thanks for posting that, Jimmy. That is so unlike the earlier models of the "flappers". The colors of the tub and the sounds are just wonderful!
We all had such a great time at Jimmy's last Saturday, so good to see everyone again and enjoy Jimmy's spectacular collection. I took a short video of the Philco and will try to edit and post it this weekend.

Mike, thanks so much for sharing all those fun pictures. It was so nice to meet and get to know you. I am so glad that you came to the convention!! We sure had a wonderful time at Jimmy's! He has a fantastic collection of so many things!! I sure hope that you are planning on coming to our convention next year!! Terry

Hello, HiLo, the "Wake to Music" & "Snooze" are indeed there. I just couldn't get them into the shot. It will also power and auto-start the percolator :'D

Of course I'll come. What did the board suggest as possible venues for next year?
I don't think I've ever seen a guy be so nice and warm and welcoming to so many people. And then Air-way Charlie, and then Morgan, and then Fred--you guys were amazing, the four chambers of the VCCC heart.
That Hoover Concept One you guys gave me is like an elephant on a sea of peanuts, so powerful, and for the Washer Folk, the vacuum haas a "Quadraflex" Agitator--a washer-vac! What a riot.
You're so like us with your cleaning contests and torquing up the machines. What a wonderful spectacle it was.

Mike as I said before, it was such a pleasure to meet you! I always enjoy your postings here and it is great to be able to put a face to them. There has been some talk of maybe Portland for next years VCCC but that's not for sure. I will keep you posted for sure. We should have that all worked out by December. Terry
