Questions

How do you plan on removing the denim stains?

Just going to vacuum the motor, or will you use other cleanup methods? What would
they be?

Will you be obtaining spares in case the keypad or control unit goes?

I'm really surprised that it didn't go up in flames. What a yucky mess, but after seeing what you did to the matching washer, I sure you will have it looking as good as new.

I suppose I should finish this thread.

Parts: heating element, high-limit thermostat, dryer refurb kit (belt, idler, drum rollers), console endcaps (one was broken), weather stripping, light bulb, spray paint.

I found that lacquer thinner removes the blue stain (paint thinner does not).

Compressed air to clean the motor.
