Catchphrases From the Past. What Do You Remember?

What about a thread on catchphrases from the past. If this has already been done, please point it out and reference the thread number. Does this sound fun? What should the rules be? Let's try and see what we remember without looking anything up at first. If this isn't fun, don't post and it will fade. I'll start.

Maytag. The dependability people.
You can be sure if it's Westinghouse.
Everyone's happier with a Hoover.
See the USA in your Chevrolet. (Maybe we should keep it mostly to appliances. List could go on forever.)

Whirlpool did a number of catchphrases throughout the years.....

Whirlpool....Just Imagine!

Yes, Martin. You're right. Catchphrases have been many and they change as years pass. I guess it depends on ones age as to what they remember. Maybe this is unrealistic.

Once upon a time, when Ronald Regan was their spokesperson, GE used a phrase "Progress is our most important product".

 

My favorite of that era has to be "Live better electrically". 

 

Just one more:  "A KitchenAid for every kitchen" - I guess that was used in the late 50s and early 60s.

Wasn't there KitchenAid, for the way it's made. Or I'm I getting my brands mixed up?

Barbara Hale's recent passing reminded me. If it doesn't say Amana, it's not a Radar Range.

Sounds familar... One of the more recent phrases, I think.  But it definitely sounds familiar!

Rice a Roni: Rice a Roni the San Francisco treat.
Pepsodent: You'll wonder where the yellow went when you brush your teeth with Pepsodent.
Ford: There's a Ford in your future.
Chiffon Margarine: It's not nice to fool with mother nature.
Hertz: Let Hertz put you in the drivers seat.
Buick: When better cars are built Buick will build them.
Chiffon Margarine: You'll think it's butter but it's not, it's Chiffon.
Eggo: Let go my Eggo.
Vlasic: Who's got my pickle?
