CELEBRATING THE LAUNDRY LABS 1st ANNIVERSARY!!!
Hey Aw.org gang!
I can’t believe its a year today since Laundry Lab’s was launched on “Youtube”. When this little wonderful site came in to my life, what’s it called again? Oh yeah that’s it, Automaticwashers.org. Boy did I have hours of fun, reading through the forums, looking through some stunning photo collections and personal video’s via Youtube.
The one thing that was lacking were adverts, which were hard to get hold off. Before The Laundry Lab was formed, I roughly had about ten UK Laundry Adverts which wasn’t many. As many of you agreed, you’d spend hours on end hoping to find that one particular advert, then end up disappointed when you’ve spent half the night searching for it when really it was past your bedtime.
Something needed to be done I thought. Before I became a member on Aw.org. I gave myself a challenge to find all those hidden and forgotten adverts. Better still why not create a page and make it a History Museum purely on “UK Laundry Adverts” and make it assessable for everyone! Initially I wanted to create a website, but the knowledge of building one failed me. So Youtube was my next option.
During those long few months, the endless days and nights, I searched high and low. Searched places that were unthinkable which took me by surprise. Slowly I had enough adverts to start The Laundry Lab Page, I added the little logo, edited the video's to the best way I can and here we are a year later celebrating The Laundry Labs first anniversary!
The support and gratitude I have received from everyone have been amazing, and along the way I have made friends. I really can't thank you all enough, not because I wanted everyone's appraisal but simply because everyone on Automaticwashers.org inspired me to give something back to the AW.org community!
So to get this party started, I have included this weeks:
“THE TOP TEN SPINS OF THE WEEK!”

(Usually held on Sundays, but to mark the event, I pulled it a day earlier)
