Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

I am not sure how this is gonna be..
I thought new ones would come, since most machines having A and milion pluses xD
But are these new standards?
Can anyone explain me what does annual consumption mean on electricity? Electricity per KG is better?

Well, annual energy use, in the CURRENT energy label is calculated as 200 cycles at the cotton 60°C programme with the stated load, so if the machine is e.g. 6 kg, that would be the energy required to wash 200X6 kg of laundry, usually a family's load in a year. Same goes for water usage.

I;ve just seen this too ...

Q) Some suppliers already declare a washing machine as A-30%, does it equal to A+++?

A) A-30% is a declaration for energy efficiency. It means that the product is 30% more efficient that current A class, but it is not an official class endorsed by the European Union.
A+++ has additional elements in it, and it does not necessarily correspond to A-30%.

... So it will be interesting to see if some machines get downgraded, from A+++ to A++... because their own rating is not equal to the EU's new standard

I guess it could be, one ought to see how many watts-hour per kg of laundry are defined for each class!

Anyway I hate those 60°C washes that in reality are 45-48°C washes as in my machine!
There should be a "normative" cycle and then you can set a real temperature on it!
