I really like the look of the electronic model's control panel. Sharp. His tub is really indexing; mine did for awhile, but only about one-fourth as much as the one in the video. Glad to see the tub fills completely. Nice!
Wonder why they aren't members with one of them referring to vintage appliances a couple of times. Funny couple!!!

Have the newer SQ t/l washer always used low speed for the after-wash spin? I must have missed that in the lengthy discussions.

Yup, it goes into low speed spin after wash, as it does an initial spray rinse, and then high speed spin for the final spin after the final rinse.

However the SQ TL washers are not Energy-Star rated, they do meet minimum energy requirements if you use the Eco-Normal cycle and I do find that a lot of people we are selling these machines are using the NEC much of the time.

mrb627, it does a low speed spin again. And combo52, yep! Fortunately (and later learned from reading the owner's manual) our dealer flat-out told us "don't use NEC, it doesn't fill-and-rinse." which was great advice, I have skin reactions to detergents. Yet I don't like the "free and clear" stuff, I want "clean and smells nice" hehe...

Normal Eco Cycle On New SQ TL Washers
One of the good things about the NEC [ in addition to saving water and probably better rinsing ] is that the washers main seal will probably last much longer because the seal area will not get as much of the beneficial detergent softened solution rinsed away from the seal. This should help keep the seal from being ruined by the minerals in the water.
We have seen quite a few SQ TL washers where the main water seal fails and ruins the top bearing during the 3 year warranty and in every case the customer said they almost always or always use the 2nd deep rinse selection.
