I bought a new mattress last year, it's considerably thicker than my old one. None of my sheets fit it properly. Bought some sheet clips but they are a hassle to use.  I like 100% cotton sheets and bought a set, but the budget isn't there for 3 or 4 sets. Stumbled across a set of brushed micro fiber sheets for $18 and thought why not.  While they are thin but I kind of like them.  On cool nights they seem to hold the heat, with less blankets they seem to stay cool. Decided to take a chance and ordered an AZ branded set for $16, can always return them, but if I get a year or two use out if them I'll be happy. I know the prices will be going up.

Matt, a couple of years ago I went through the same throws of decisions you have gone through. I stumbled upon California Design Den sheets available in a variety of thread counts and budgets.
