Commercial soft mount machines (those with a suspension and high G force spinning) are typically 3-5 times more expensive than hard mounts (those without a suspension and low G spinning). I quickly gave up on the dream of having a super efficient laundromat when I learned that an 18# commercial soft mount is $6,500 compared to the 18# hard mount at $1,800.

How much does it cost as a function of purchase price to install the Hard Mount machines, and why don't they spin faster since they are hard mounts?
