i just remembered something and im sick with excitement writing this but can you help me out? I know the location of a Servis wringer machine. Its a superheat model and at a guess its dated late 50s early 60s? A big single tub machine which is the body is rounded square in shape with a large wringer with black rubber plastic rollers. The wash tub is grey blue in colour with a large black agitator. The lid was large metal round thing with black rubber seals and a black mushroom shaped handle in the middle. Its at my old junior school and although i not been there for 12 years im sure it will still be there as it was used as a display item for 1 to 2 months a year then stored away. Its in near perfect condition last time i saw it and i remember it smelled of hot rubber and daz whenever i looked in the tub. Would it be worth anything and should i go to the school and ask to buy it? What would i offer as a genuine collector bid with on intention to sell it on? What would it be worth to a collector? I was thinking 30 quid for myself.
