I recently whined out loud here about my lack of vintage small appliances. My dear friend Veg-O-Matic heard my plea and took pity on me for having to drink coffee out of a soulless white plastic coffeemaker made by Chinese slave labor. In the short time we had the elcheapo Proctor-Silax drip coffeemaker, I had really grown to hate it-the spout on the pot ALWAYS dribbled coffee as you tried to pour or something would go awry with the lid so the little valve on the basket wouldn't release, creating a huge MESS!
So I arrived home on Tuesday (after having been to the dental chamber of horrors) to find a large package waiting for me. I open it up to find three lovingly wrapped vintage small appliances.
The first is this lovely Sunbeam Vista Percolater. I love it so because it matches my collection of Crazy Daisy/Spring Blossom Green. Here it is ready to be plugged in.
