Not the tree, but...

Check out the turquoise-theme decorations I found for the kitchen in Ogden! The 'stars' were found at the Bay in Montreal and the lighted ice bulbs are from my collection of vintage lights.

Silver in Vogue this year....

Here's ours...vintage ornaments and a mix of "soft glow" and vintage threaded "midget" lights. I bought the tree new a few years ago but this is the first time we've had it up. Not enough room for the color wheel in this little apartment! -Cory

Ceramic Christmas Trees

You all have such beautiful trees. My grandmother had one of those ceramic trees that a dear friend of hers made for her in a ceramics class. I loved that little tree, and when she passed away I got the tree, I had it until the early 90's. I was putting it away and it slipped out of my hands and broke, I cried for almost two hours that night. I haven't put our trees up yet, hopefully I can get that done this week.

We were at Wal-Mart last week, and saw a modern version of the aluminum trees. Had a teacher in high school that would put one up in his class room every year with purple and gold ornaments to match the school colors.

Merry Christmas!

My tree w/ the chicken & pig on the dog table. It used to have pink lights on it, but those are long gone now.

Fresh pine decorations for Christmas

Just put these up on the weekend - didn't want them to dry out too badly before Christmas!
The pine sprays came from trees around the house, freshly cut on Saturday. Here's the dining room arrangement.

Here we go. Prefer a live tree, but this is better for space constraints.

BTW, Toggles - I have a similar ceramic tree, made by my mother in 1979 for her mom, in a ceramics class, in Staten Island. Technically NYC. So, you see, miracles DO happen. :-)
