I got my moms boss's kirby last night. I sold him an ultimate G a while ago. He was so impressed with my work, he decided to give me another one of his kirbys to work on. He has 3 now. Started with a G3, then got a G5, and then he wanted a newer one, and at the time my mom was using my UG to clean her office. He asked if I would sell it, which I was actually.

So here it is. The ol G3. He says its now the basement vacuum. Its got some major issues as you can tell. The bag is ripped and filltube cracked. The emptor has several cracks in it as well.

The rest of the machine is in actually remarkable shap. Hardly and scratches on it. Runs well, very nice brush roll. Just a light tarnishing.

I have ordered through hesco an entire brand new bag assembly (with new style emptor) , and cord. Might order a new pet oblique brush roll, just to make it a great cleaner.

They are!

Its a shame to see kirbys like this though. This is probably one of my most favorite kirby models, but to see them in such dispare. Tisk tisk to the owners. :P

Yeah, I kinda don't see how vacuums get so destroyed either. I mean, they are just pushed around the inside of a house at barely walking speed....how much easier could mechanical life get? It especially doesn't make sense with something like a $1,500 Kirby. Who pays that kind of money for a vacuum (to begin with) and then flogs the cr@p out of it until it's worth 20 bucks?

Yea... And they have 3 of them. Its not like they dont know how to use it, or that they are cheap. They bought the G3 and G5 brand new.

Some people. :P
