I had a newer Flair with porcelain oven liners and hungered for an older model. Patrick found both of the ranges on Portland's craiglist. Once in a while taking the softer approach allows people to pay forward.
This mixer was pictured at WACEM where some of the more determind members thought they could dictate how the seller sold it and threw in tons of insults. I ran across the ad in craigs. the seller was ready and I brought it home.
Nice collection of chrome Mixmasters! And nice RCIB 645-2. I got a similar RCIB 645C (a Canadian model).
I have only one Mixmaster, the same as the second from the right but the Sunbeam logos on the sides are worn off on mine. Your oldest Mixmaster must be quite rare. I think they didn't make a lot of them with chrome plating. I had a white one like this but I gave it to a friend.
Ohh, Kelly, looking lovely, now we need cake!! Glad you are all moved and installed, we've missed those recipes!! did you get the Frigidaire Fridge Freezer recently??
Morning Al, do you have a chrome Sunbeam or was it a US only model??
Mike
I do have a chrome (or probably more correctly "faux chrome") Mixmaster but it is the much later 1990s version - actually I think Kelly has one of those too if I remember the pictures right. To the best of my knowledge we did not have any of the older models in chrome - the model 10 is my favourite of them

We're about 3 weeks from completion. One room gets finished and cleaned and then its piled up while everything is moved to work on the next room. It is a very nice house and I'll enjoy the end of winter and construction soon. Thank you for the warm expressions.
<span style="font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif; font-size: small;">Now that's a stunning cooker. Same cooker from Bewitched right? Unless I'm wrong?</span>

That cake looks so yummy! I always remember going to Morrison's Cafeteria in Gulfport, MS when I was about 7 or 8, and getting a big piece of Coconut Cake. I'm going to have to bake one soon.
I wouldn't have Flair without your help, Patrick. It is my intent is days to come to dispell any myth's about the Flair being a novelty item when it clearly shines in production cooking. A GM Frigidaire refrigerator is the next frontier and I hope the finder's good luck shines on Patrick to help find that as well. Thank you for the nice words, Matt. Did you get beaters for the model 9 yet? I have several sets and one is still in the Sunbeam box.
Yes, it is the same (or similar) to the cooker in the earlier seasons of Bewitched
Samantha likes hers too (5.20min in)
This is my favourite episode.
Kelly, I feel the waistband on my trousers tightening just looking at the great pictures of your baking. And do let us know if a red head wearing lavender robes appears on the countertop beside your Flair LOLOL
