Ad says it is a Lady Kanmore.

Yes, It is a Lady Kenmore 90 series DD machine with timer light. I had one of those in Almond. Has triple dispenser Dual Action agitator. It is a good machine, if you can find one that works perfectly. Maybe 92-94 model? It may even be the version that has the 3 speed motor, like mine did.

One of few DDs I have seen that had any kind of light outside of the electronic sets of the late 80s. I would guess this washer to be a 94 model, as I believe that was one of the first years they used the white consoles.

You are correct......

That is a Lady Kenmore alright.

The model pictured is a 1992 Direct-Drive Model with a 3-Speed Motor with a light JUST above the timer.

This model may have been available in 1994 as well. But for now, I saying this is a 1992 washer.

I see the cabinet looks a little beat up on the bottom. What do you think???

It looks like someone probably got pissed with it. Possibly dispenser issues or timer issues?? Maybe they overloaded the machine and broke the coupling. The Timer in this machine is double sided, and is expensive to replace.

If memory serves right this should be a late 80's model, I got my Lady Kenmore in 1985 and it had one more knob on the panel, a cycle modifier, no light, this came 2 or 3 years later as well as the monocromatic styling, but I could be wrong

To me that doesnt look like it was kicked in...looks like they cut into the sheet metal if you look closely. They probably couldnt figure out how to take the cabinet off so they did some surgery on the poor washer. It looks like the washer has had a better day and I am sure it was abused.

I had a similar 1995 model that had four, rather than 3, ancillary knobs (and that light) with 3 speeds. It was the highest up model with mechanical controls. I don't think by this time, that anything but the all electronic models were dubbed "Lady Kenmore". In fact, it must have been right around that time that moniker was retired in favor of "Kenmore Elite". My former roommate finally ditched it at about 9 years because it had issues with that dispenser a number of times, but still has the matching dryer.

Actually...... Sears retired the Lady Kenmore name back in 1999. That year, the first Kenmore Elite came out (the Catalyst).

I knew I had a picture somewhere. On the cycle selector, if you picked one in the top section, you got a cool down, otherwise not. If you selected without a cool down, when it got to that part, the light would go out, the timer would advance quickly beyond that point, the light would go back on and the cycle would continue.

Nice washer. My brother had a 70 series model he bought in 1995 with a console just like that, except of course it did not have the light above the timer, and only had two auxilliary knobs for adjusting load size and water temperature.

I did not know that Lady K's stayed around until almost 2000. The owner cut out the front to replace the water pump. Real bright. lol
