Classic Appliances Yahoo Group?

For fun I thought I'd check out the old yahoo group. Anyone remember that?

Surely.  It was the beginning of the group, until Robert registered a domain name, bought hosting service, designed-up this-here custom software, and here are we for more than 21 years.  Yay!

The old ClassicAppliances Yahoo group was started by Jeff_Adelphi in late 1999

All Yahoo Groups were wiped away late in 2020. I had a couple groups at that time dealing with astronomy and vintage audio.

Email lists have been largely phased out by other forum platforms much like how the www obsoleted dial-in BBS networks.

I downloaded most of the data from that group years ago after it was inactive. The data/posts are not in an easy format to read, however at some point I may be able to write a program to extract that data and make it readable for us.
