Here's an odd game show

Before hosting Jeopardy Alex Trebek hosted a game show call the Wizard of Ods. Anyone remember that? Very short lived.

Thanks for all the posts! Yes it was cool to see the 1972 Price is Right, since I wasn't born yet. I hope there will be some more. I also want to thank (one more time) everyone who sent me those wonderful birthday greetings, it means a lot to me.

Anybody remember "Musical Chairs" from the 70's? I really enjoyed that one, but I thought it was humiliating when the contestant would be pulled out of the competition in their chair. "Remote Control" on MTV was like that too and that show took place in a basement, with a water heater and Kenmore dryer.

"Gene Rayburn, long time host of TV's 'Match Game' passed away last Sunday at the age of 83. His family requests, in lieu of flowers, that you send blank." Tina Fey

Does anyone have a favorite "Price is Right" pricing game? My all time fave is "Cliffhangers". I love watching the mountain climber take a dive off the cliff, especially if it was a contestant I didn't like. When I was about five, I would simulate this game by taking an action figure, running it up the bannister of the stairs and drop it off the top.

Does anyone have a favorite *Price is Right

Ten Chances. its a cinch to play, yet folks always act like they need soo much help. i also like the way it looks. golden road is also nice.

I hope this wasn't a figment of my imagination....

Does anyone here remember, around maybe 1982, a show called "Just Men" where Betty White was the hostess? She would say things like "I have to go to this zoo up here". This was around time I was figuring out who I was. I don't know how the game played but they did have David Hasselhoff, Richard Dean Anderson, and Jon Erik Hexum on it but since I never hear about it anymore I can't help to think I made it up (like the GE Dispensall in "Did this machine actually exist")!. I was in college at the time and one reason I didn't do very well is becuase I skipped Human REsources and history class to watch "Just Men". I could not figure out until later why I wanted to watch it, or why I always wanted to see "Star Trek II: The Wrath of Kahn" with Ricardo Montoban. I hope I'm not going off the deep end with this.
