Creda Carefree

Looks like a nice example of a later Carefree. Originally introduced with plain white doors it was not long before it was tarted up to complete against the likes of the Tricity President and TOL version of the Belling Classic. This is probably from the turn of the 1980s

That Westinghouse machine is an Aussie machine. Very much what would have been put on the Neighbours set in the laundry.

Great machines, i think that one is the bigger 7kg size one. I quite like the look of the half panel controls.

Tricity Marquis

Early to Mid 1960s. Now this was a surprise - Tricity used the Marquis name for many years but I always associated it with a MOL model, nothing fancy but not budget either. This is before the age of dual rings but its does have a simmerstat on one of the rings, which I never recall seeing on later Marquis or even President models. It might clean up well

Now, normally I comment if I think an item is over priced, and I think this might be on the optimistic side, however the condition of the cooker as absolutely STUNNING. It has either been so well kept or has been cleaned so carefully and methodically it looks like it is straight out of the showroom. I am amazed for something that must be 50 years old. The seller is known here in AW and to me personally, so I know it is someone to be trusted.

Well it certainly looks a lot cleaner although actually the knobs are showing exactly the same deterioration as the one on ebay. Its a shame the seller of the one on ebay would not lower the price (I suggested this to him when I met him when I bought the Supertwin 70 listed last month) as it was just not worth the money. I got an instruction book for this cooker though a couple of weeks ago

Series 1 Kenwood Chefette

This is not cheap but if you have a Chef 701 then you are getting a lot for your money as there are several Chef accessories in there too. Never saw a "Stabmix" attachment for a Chefette before. For this in the know the chrome angle is off an Electrolux vacuum cleaner
