If this was 1970 it could only just have been - this is a Canadian built Moffat so I would guess 30 inches wide. Would love this myself but now is not the time ...
I can recall posting at least one of the previous model before, don't remember one of these. Again Canadian made (the bake element in the oven is a real giveaway) I imagine this is what would be called "apartment size" in USA, although standard size for us
Although branded Electra (Electricity Board showroom exclusive) this cooker mas manufactured by English Electric and in fact was one of their last products. It was one of the first cookers to appear in a range of colours although this one is, of course, white. It would be approximately the same size as the Moffat previously listed
Within 10 years of so it had morphed into this - some what more luxurious looking although actually it does not do anything more than the previous model. The oven door is so tall because there is a storage compartment under the oven
This is about 60 years old. It was around this time that Creda experimented with putting the grill (broiler) in the oven. It was not a success - this is quite a basic (aka cheap) model
Interesting to see how styles change over 5 to 10 years - if the previous kitchen was (very) late 1960s/early 1970s this is mid to end 1970s, possibly creeping into 1980 or so
