I think many folks buy new and give up old reliable is capacity. My A206 is a great washer, for cat blankets, bath room rugs, or a small odd load. It would try my patience with king size sheets and bedding, a job the Modern Dependable care can accomplish quite easily and all in 27 minutes. alr2903

CA302 & CDE906 together...
That will be a neat picture but will take some time to put together as SOMEONE'S Frigidaire and G.E. sets are blocking the CDE906 in right now... Actually, that could look pretty neat but as much I take just a little pride in the rework I did on the dryer, the absolutely fantastic condition of the Highlander will show it up. I think that out of all the colors that Maytag had, coppertone is the most unforgiving as far as scratches and dings are concerned but is also the most wonderfull looking if kept well such as this one was. Actually, wasn't the official name 'Cordoba' ?

Later on it was called Cordoba Coppertone, but when this beautiful A302 was made it was simply, Coppertone.

Lucked out again!
After letting the transmission gently warm up in the shop for a few days (I was too busy to spend 'quality time' with her...), I had her strut her stuff. The agitation starts up much better. Still a tad slow to get up to speed but it gets there. Ran a huge load of towels thru and she performed wonderfully. I will have to get after a small dribble that showed up @ the tub cover gasket during spin but I don't anticipate anything scary... Once I have more breathing room after getting everything ready for Kevin's Wash In trip, I'll rig the lid switch so I can maybe shoot a little video.
