Crown!
Hi Ken,
Thank you for posting. We actually did have a simular range in a apt we lived in new jersey in the mid 70's. It had a all white top and the broiler was the upper unit. It was also continous cleaning. Even though a lot of people disagree with me I did like continous cleaning if you knew how to use it and not to try to clean it.
I know you mentioned caloric above - to me they were a disaster. When we moved to another house in 77 we had a top and bottom TOL gas range. It was nothing but one problem after the other. It had self cleaning with a rotesserie. The oven used to die when my mom was making big dinners. To make a long story really short my parents had caloric replace it 4 times. (still ng) So they got their money back after almost 3 years of grief. One thing I could say nice about it it did look nice - but caloric was useless in my book. I knew other people with a lot of problems with the calorics except if it was a very basic model. I feel the same way about caloric as I do with LG.
But these Crowns are really beautiful ranges.
