I found one of those little fat Farberware percs and gave it to my mother. She loves the coffee and the speed of it.Growing up she had the fat GE perc, she got for Christmas in the fifties. What a good pot.I use my small mirrowmatic or mt larger 56 Cory with the gold trim and simulated bamboo handle. Thanks Bobby,OH by-the-way Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!!!
I am a big fan of percolated coffee, old-fashioned on-the-burner Revere percolator. Perhaps it's just in my head, but the flavor always seems just right.
I think it has more to do with the actual coffee and measurements although all being equal and correct there is a difference in the "taste" but nothing objectionable. You can have dreadful perked coffee and dreadful drip coffee and vice versa.
Even the grind of the coffee makes a big difference, surprisingly there are alot of people don't know that drip grind and perc grind are different and not really interchangeable even if it's all from the same beans. They don't even look at the can to check etc aka my partner
