Hi all I would like to ask all of your wizards out there, your experience with coffee machines or espresso machines. We have a Nespresso machine, but it is always a hassle to get the pods and they are really expensive to order as we have to order them from a supplier in Johannesburg and pay the courier services as well. So that being said I have set out to find the ultimate but relatively affordable compressor type of coffee machine/espresso. I am willing to pay but don't really know the brands that well. Friends of ours have a Delonghi which grinds and then make the perfect cup, the question is is it really a Delonghi made machine or some cheap Chinese rip off that was rebranded. What machines are the best and is fully automated.

All of your comments/advice will be appreciated.

Regards

Jura

The Best I have found is the Jura it makes god coffee every time. I have had a Delonghi as a spare machine for when the Jura's away for service but it was very flimsy and I took it back to Cosco and got my money back we now have an old hand pump machine sorry I cant think of the make off hand but that also make really good coffee. The only negative thing i can say about the Jura is the cost but they do last a life time if looked after and serviced every 2 years. I remember a post on year about a year ago showing a machine that also looked really well made but I cant remember the make.
