Color Matching

Hello there,

Is historical archive or anything on GE Appliance Colors? I have a KitchenAid/Hobart dishwasher that I would like to have painted to match a 70's era Avocado GE Refrigerator.

I was able to match a GE Yellow color once, by taking a drawer from a GE metal kitchen cabinet to Sherwin-Williams, but I don't think they would take kindly to me hauling that refrigerator in

Paintref.com has formulas if you wish to have it painted in a factory type finish. They have formulas for PPG and DuPont, in both the base and border colors.

My friend Brenda had the front panel of her KitchenAid DW painted at a body shop, in a custom matched shade to match her blue cabinets. It looked just like a factory finish, and held up very well.
