I recently found some comfort lily and riceflower the other day when i was in town, they were selling it in 5 Litre professional Bottles.

I miss this fragrance so much, I might get some just to relive the nostalgia :)

Pink Comfort was amazing, Even Comfort Silk which my mum used alot in my childhood, along with my auntie using Comfort Blue :)

If you could bring back any detergents, what would you bring back?

Bring them all back hehe...

Mine would be Ariel Liquid when it first came out (with the arielette ball) miss the smell of that. Comfort Silk, as you mentioned...they would have to be my favourite smells during my child hood. Paul I agree on the Persil liquid smell too :)

Mine would be

Ariel Futur - in the bag and the little scoop :)

Persil Liquid - When it was a thick white liquid.

Comfort Blue regular - I liked the classic comfort blue scent before they brought the fresh release version out in 2007.

Comfort Silk - Gorgeous rich peach coloured conditioner that smelt divine =]

Lenor Oriental Blossom and Alpine Fresh from the 90s

Classic Surf - in the blue box, I used to love the Sunfresh, Lemonfresh and CottonFresh, they smelt amazing and cleaned really well =] my mum used to buy this in the early 2000's if we couldn't afford Ariel.

Two of my all time faves were Wisk, from the 1980's and Persil Colour from the 1990's

Why don't the manufacturers listen!!!

That's an easy one for me....

Late 1990's OMOMATIC....

It has the most lovely, light fragrance compared to todays high-powered kill the sinus formulations.

Persil Liquid & such...

I have not used any UK detergents since I was there last in 1986. I brought home many different brands to try here. I can tell you the Ariel and Persil Powders' scents were DIVINE! Today, I buy German-made Persil Color Gel(blue clear liquid), and Universal Gel(green). Those smell wonderful and fresh, and not too strong so as to destroy one's senses! Either of those run me $19.99 US for a 1.5L bottle. If you can get that somewhere, try it! I would love to try some current UK detergents, but nobody I know goes there to bring back some for me. I bought some Omo & Skip powders from France in 1989, both of them smelled very fresh and light-fragranced!

I also bought a 1L bottle of Vizir liquid in France, that had the BEST scent of most any detergents back then! I am SO SICK of most the US brands here that cater to some ethnic groups with the ultra-strong perfumes that would wake the dead! So many people use fabric softener to excess. Just drive by a laundromat or walk past peoples' houses and you will smell the sickening stench coming from dryer vents!
