Compatible agitator for Kenmore direct drive washer

Hello all. I recently inherited a very well used Kenmore direct drive, model 11091250100. It’s got a single piece agitator with vanes. I was wondering which, if any, dual action agitators are compatible with this machine? Thanks!

I know it was dirty in this pic. It’s a much cleaner unit now!

That’s one of the 24 inch wide standard capacity direct drive washers, it was also called a large capacity machine as opposed to the super capacity larger tubs that were in the 27 inch wide cabinets.

Whirlpool also made models that had that size large capacity tub in a 27 inch cabinet.

That said there were many dual action agitators used in your washer in the fancier model so yes, there are plenty of agitators out there that will fit right in that machine.

The advantage of the dual action agitator is you can get a larger amount of clothing in it and have it turn over easily. It’s not quite as hard on clothing and you’ll have less linting with the dual action agitator.

The agitator you have now works fine if you don’t load too heavily or use too long of wash time.
