I've heard that vented dryers are more energy efficient than condensers. However, I was just wondering how some condensers are getting B ratings for EU energy efficiency.
Are they comparing condensers only with other condensers or is this rating applicable to all types of tumble dryers regardless of how they handle the moisture?
I'm getting a bit annoyed by the fact that all the major european manufactuers, except Miele, are selling their better dryer models as condenser only and if you want a vented model it's usually far more basic.
