This is not a hoax thread LOL

When I came home from work this morning the hallway smelt like clothes washed in the old scented Persil Performance, (they were drying on the radiator) so after checking the detergent Angelas has just bought I cant believe how like Persil Performance it smells like in the wrapper.

of all the detergents its........

Morrisons Cyclon 2in1 tabs.

Oh boy am I so tempted to switch, what do you guys reckon? anyone else noticed the likeness?
I hope they can wash whites to my standard, watch this space for the results.
If not I may use them solely for bedding LOL

Hey

I'm using persil gel tablets the bio ones, i think these are very good on whites, i'm tempted to try the new bold fragrance the crushed silk and jasmine detergent

as for the morrisons tabs, i've never used them, i always use persil or surf

a detergent i recommend is Aldis almat colour liquid for dark colours, its good value for £1.89 a bottle and cleans just as well as persil colour liquigel

persil aloe vera liquigel is amazing :)

Somewhow I think NOT!

Poor rinsing but better than any product P&G have to offer anyway.

that alone puts me off TBH.

I have a video to share tommorrow of the 4th and final rinse in the Hottie on Super to show you what they were like.

Only fun thing was the water level the washer had, lots of splashy action in the run up to the fast spin.

Morrisons Ocean tabs

aren't they like a remake of Asdas 2 in 1 ocean blast tablets??

i've used them and i thought they smelt quite nice

but persil is number 1 to me :)

Poor rinsing

I have noticed too that from the few Asda tablets I've used (courtesy of Dan giving me a couple of sachets), that they were quite reluctant to rinse out and they did cause a sudslock in the wash spin. About as bad as Ariel/Fairy/Daz tabs for sudsing/rinsing.

I still think you should try Bold though - you will be amazed :-). I certainly was... haven't touched the Persil now since last week! Though Persil will never be absent from my detergent shelf!

BTW I used Cyclon powder once about a year ago - was so apalled by the smell in the packet and the performance after one use that I threw it straight away!

Aldis Almat

I'm tempted to try aldis almat biological powder, its good housekeeping recommended 2006, and its cheap too 2.89 for a 3kg box

i already use the liquid and i'm impressed with that
