Conventions?

My girlfriend - who has been with me to numerous antique radio swaps and conventions, has asked me if there are any conventions / meetings / swaps for antique appliances. I said I did not know...but if there are, this is the place to ask.

yep, I was just like you huggybear thinking I was the only one who had this strange attraction to appliances. I found this site by accident and a summer later I found myself at the annual convention.....walked in ....instant friends, felt like i knew these guys forever.

Also throughout the year there are area waash ins going on. If someone is going to host one the word here will spread quickly.

Conventions and wash-ins

The last official convention was in 2005 at Gansky's house and it was a total blast! It's three days of love, peace, and washers.

Most of the time a regional wash-in might pop up. Also, there was an annual wash-in in Tuscan, AZ. I hope there's a 2008 one because I want to go.
