Got a new Miracle Mate vacuum today-Wow--quite a machine.Has a very interesting powernozzle-gosh need a camera to take pictures of it.I has more power than a Melie Red Velvet and a Tri-Star-has the COOLEST metal body. And comes with the prettiest blue tools-even have the "sparklies" in them like the old "compact" tools-these are a deep blue color.Comes with two wands-both extendable ones-a corded one for the powerrnozzle and a non corded one for the bare floor tool-also a nice blue color. The machine uses a similar bag system as the Tri-Star-Compact,Vortech force, and "Patriot" machines-the vertical bag and horizontal motor. The big diffrence is the top of the MM bag seals when the vac lid is opened.Allergy suffrers won't get a faceful of dust when you open the lid to check the bag.The bag also has a small fold out handle to lift it from the machine when full. Will keep ya posted how it works-just got it today.Me and another fellow are going to try to sell them in this area.I have a link to their website-the powernozzle on the machine I have is diffrent then the one in their picture. It works really well-vibrates the sand out of my carpets well. Its a Miracle Mate "Platinum" model.

Looked thru the "doco" that came with the Miracle Mate vac-and the power nozzle is called The "EdgeLift"It has special air ducts on the edges of the nozzle to give it extra air movement on its sides to get dirt along baseboards and furniture legs better. The unit was supplied and warranted thru ESSCO.Sounds like Essco is the maker of the unit and they supply it to vacuum cleaner builders-its a nice unit.

Miracle Mate

My cousin, swears by the Miracle Mate. She is a nasty housekeeper and the Miracle Mate is able to handle the once a month "suck up everything" but the Labrador Retriever and not break. She complains bitterly about the cost and availablity of the bags.
I suspected similarities with the Compact and suggested she try those bags and see if they work.
I am glad to know my guess was in the right vein. It is a super machine, which commands a super price tag.

The Miracle Mate machines have been sold in the West for a long time-they are built in Ferndale Washington.I am wondering if I have the first one introduced in NC.Got it at a discount price.George and I are trying to arrange to sell them here-and introduce them to the southern market.I would guess in an emergency vortech Force or Schottler "Patriot" bags would fit-none of those seal when opened though.the micacle Mate folks have an "800"# if you want to order bags and filters.Yes the machine is large-you do have to watch for "Drag Along Tradgeties" as the GE Swivel Top ad states. When I get home will try and see if Compact-TriStar bags fit-am wondering-the cloth bag in the Miracle Mate seems to be larger. If it is-the TriStar bags wouldn't fit.If you do use sub bags-remember it will void the machines warranty if it is still under one. They certainly could use a better website. It is kinda bland and does not show the new powernozzle. The connectors on the hose and wand are similar to the ones on Vortech Force, and the Air Way.If so may be fun to try the power nozzles on the other machines.I did adapt and older "Turbo Brush"Tri Star nozzle to my E2 Rainbow-that Rainbow sure dug up more dirt than their stock powernozzle.1-800-944-5777 is their toll free number to order bags and filters.
