Corningware Electromatics

As some of you know, I am a collector of vintage Corningware and Pyrex.

I have a "Black Trefoil" electromatic percolator, model # (P13-EP), 10 cup. The power cord to this model is different from the other cords manufactured by Corning. If anyone has a cord that would fit this model percolator, I would be interested in purchasing it from you.

What many don't know is that in the 90s, (80s? whatever) Corning and Rival teamed together to make a crock pot. The crock is a corningware dish, square....

I found one at Goodwill this weekend for $2.50. Good score, thought I.

I think you should ZAP all of Darrin and Sammy's Corning Ware and while you're at it pick up that white Model 12 she never uses and the Sunbeam waffle iron too!!!

I use electromatics all the time love um keeps coffee piping hot

yeah I have several electromatics...

1 percolators (several stove top)
2 electric skillets (though I don't think they called them that)
and some kind of warming dish that takes a smaller rectangular cw dish on it.

I have been looking for this exact cord for years.

I am a devout thrift store shopper. I have bought tons of cords that I though would fit and work. Never has any one of them fit.

I will keep and eye out for myself and you. It is the spacing of the prongs that makes it not a normal cord.

I don't know that I've ever seen a Corning electric skillet, before. Interesting! Hope you're able to find a cord for that snazzy percolator.

The only Corning piece of interest I've ever had was a special "frying pan" for the microwave. I had it in the late 70's-early 80s; used it while at college.

You'd preheat it (empty) in the microwave, then use it to fry burgers and brown other items. We even used it to make steaks! I also recall that the first one cracked in half, and I bought another. Used it a lot, actually, as all the roommate and I had to cook with was a microwave.

Is this the type of Corning cord that you are looking for?

I have that percolator and mine takes the 'standard' cord.

I never seem to see the electromatic percolators around here. Plenty of the stovetop models

perhaps 'corning electric skillet' was a misnomer.

It's actually a large flat bottomed corningware dish and a smoothtop pyroceram covered heating element. I've attached a link from an ebay auction (not mine).

no, you're good. I meant the electric plug in percolator I never see here.. I have one of the electromatic skillets and assorted casseroles. Surprisingly it's one of the few vintagey things around here my other half likes. He probably likes it more than he likes me HA.

Electromatic question

Did Corningware make a Blue Cornflower skillet to go with the Electromatic skillet base?? I have listed one for sale on eBay and I was curious to know if this a style originally offered. Personally, I prefer that 'black trefoil' design of yours - very stylish!!!
