Well Louis if it's any consolation plenty of people including myself always look at the Euro stuff with envy because it's either not available over here or it's priced out of most peoples means.
I guess it's a two way street. Getting products from the other side of the pond is pretty expensive for both of us. And then there is the Volts issue...
I had one of those crock-pots /slow-cooker (mijoteuse) that used a 3qt (3L) square Corning Ware dish/pots/ serving pieces. Gave it to my mother-in law at the time. It was great except for the lavender "girle" pattern. *LOL* My current one is an oh-so-butch & rugged (tm) black and SS model.
Wow, I haven't made that for ages! And it's so true that anything cooked in a vintage appliance tastes better! That could be why I have six vintage deep-fryers safely hidden away in storage... LOL
