I was thrown off by the same thing - but it is still WCI, you can tell by the side of the dryer cabinet in the washer picture and the forming of the top on the dryer. I used to spend many a summer grocery-shopping day in Gambles that was next to the store my grandmother shopped and I don't remember ever seeing any GE made laundry appliances.
I wonder if WCI may have sourced those toggle switches from GE? LOL
I dough it would be the match, the likelihood of the matching washer surviving this long is about nil. The only likely reason that the dryer still exists is that it was not used much. These early WCI conglomerations were easily the worst washers and dryers on the market in their time.
