A ventless combo such as the LGs shown in the ad would be great for an apartment where venting and space are issues. If Costco carries them, the demand must be there.
Have never used a combo. Knew someone with a big ol' mid-50's Bendix when I was a tyke, but never saw it operate.

There's also a larger 2.8 cu.ft. model (older?) currently out of stick and a larger 4.3 cu.ft. model sold elsewhere.

Older buildings in 'vertical' cities present the one situation where a 120v ventless combo is what you need: No gas, no venting, no 240v. In this situation you either have one of these units or go to the laundromat.
My experience with this type was very positive. However, I'm not one to go by. I seem to be the ONLY person in the world who had an Equator that worked properly the entire time I had it.

Yea,take it from me,the only good Equators were the EZ 1000 and EZ1100. The later models were horrible and full of cheap Chinese parts. At their main offices in Houston,Id call previous dealers to sell them crates of the newer ones no longer made like the Philco of Italy models previously noted.Id get screamed at or hung up on because of the lack of care from Atul and his Indian crew. However,before working there, I worked at HD and sold dozens of the 24"and 27"wide combos made by LG. They are very well made and work great. The ones I sold came with my own instructions verbally. And their owners loved them. Not one issue.
