It's a Naco

I saw one of these about 20 years ago, put out for hard rubbish collection. Similar condition.
It is a manual operation front loader. No door or rubber seal, the front chute stops water loss during washing. I vaguely recall that the one I saw had a tap on the front for draining, but I could be confusing it with a different machine, it was a long time ago. I think pulling the red lever clutches it from tumble to spin.
I have never seen one working so I can't be much more help. I think it needs to be bolted to the floor.

Hi Adam

I’ve had a few of these, in all cases so far the aluminum tub, shell etc has all been corroded and the machines haven’t been salvageable. I can see the inked valves on this one are corroded too.

You have to bolt them down to spin and there is no pump, so you need a floor drain, you turn that shaft on the lower left to open and close the drain.

It’s a simple machine, but unless all the aluminum is intact, there isn’t much you can do with it.

Cheers

Nathan

Believe it or not, we had machines like this in the U.S. in the early-to-mid 1960s, except as I remember, they were only coin-operated for use in launderettes.IIRC, the brand was Cook.
